"First Oaks I will never return to."

Its location was good. It had a balcony. And they gave a complimentary hour longer check out.

Was charged over $30 for parking that we couldn’t fit in, staff arranged another park. Parking entrance states 2.7m but it’s only available for 2.1m. The Foxtel was not plugged in, there was no HDMI cord to get it to work & staff were unable to assist, and I don’t recommend moving anything to discover the grotty filth beneath. Floors looked clean but were sticky. Double bed for 2 only had one single doona. No conditioner in room & only just enough shampoo. Dryer didn’t dry clothes only made them more wet. Toilet seat needs replacing. Needed pliers to get the shower head to stay up. The balcony door can lock you out. Honestly I could keep going, but the ripped carpet with holes in it and the cigarette butts found on the balcony when we arrived was the least of the issues !

This property is in a very good location. Great that we could cook our own meals at times. Bed very comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay.

The property is a little old. When you advertise a kitchen you would expect there to be a sieve, but there wasn't one. The knives in the top drawer were blunt. The hoons, cars driving really fast and loud, were a pain Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. They raced up and down Colley Street till very late at night.

"A good stay with the two bedroom two bathroom executive appartment meeting our needs."

The staff were excellent and very helpful and appartment was comfortable and clean. Lovely sunset view each evening.

Being barked at by dogs in the lift. I think the dogs were owned by permanent residents. Too many dogs in the lifts.

"Lovely location and spacious room"

Arrived but after some confusion as to where the reception area is ( as address on paperwork is incorrect for checking in), phoned the hotel and was advised of address. Finally arrived and were advised on parking and room number. The room was lovely and clean, well stocked and a beautiful view of the parkland and ocean. The rooms are not serviced however you can get clean towels in the reception area. The water temperature is beautiful and hot with great pressure. It is close to many restaurants and lovely attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
