Totalmente recomendado! Dulshan y Dilu te hacen sentir desde el primer momento que eres parte de su familia. Fueron nuestro primer contacto con este maravilloso país, y no pudo ser mejor. Sin duda no lo olvidaremos! El alojamiento se encuentra a pocos minutos del aeropuerto, muy cerca del centro pero a la vez en una zona muy tranquila. Es un lugar súper bonito, donde cada detalle está cuidado al máximo. Volveremos!

After a seamless airport pickup, we arrived at the beautiful villa located in a quiet laneway. Friendly hosts (Dulshan & Dilu) made us feel very welcome and gave us some helpful tips to set us up for a great holiday. Yummy breakfast - with a mix of continental and local dishes.

Proprietario molto disponibile, presente e gentile. Ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo di notte e ci ha supportati nel trovare un driver per il giorno dopo. La struttura è ben tenuta e in una zona tranquilla

Amazing host family, so welcoming! Would highly recommend. Very comfortable room and great breakfast!

However, I have to commend them for willingly preparing us a delicious breakfast to take away. Since there was no room for the sober man in the empty hotel, we booked him into another hotel, which cost 1/4 the price and was incomparably better, and the owners were genuinely kind and helpful. There is construction work going on in the yard, which we didn't know about, so the surroundings were actually empty, because there were plastic sheets stretched out right in front of the room and there were probably various machines there...

The night before departure we chose a slightly more expensive accommodation because we expected better service, also considering the reviews the accommodation had. However, we had a bad experience. There were about 3 hours between booking the room and our arrival, but considering that Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a minimum of tourists due to the war in the Arabian Peninsula, most accommodation, restaurants and tourist destinations were mostly empty. We were probably alone in this accommodation. The monsoon had started, we had travelled 5.5 hours and we had a short night ahead of us because we had an early morning flight the next day. We asked for accommodation for dinner, but they kindly wrote to us that they did not have a kitchen for that, although upon arrival we found out that since the hosts live there, there was a relatively large and fully equipped kitchen. We were a bit surprised because it had never been a problem before, we were very tired and it had been raining heavily all night. They recommended us to order food... . Upon arrival, the owner tried to be nice, but it seemed insincere to us, especially when we went to the room and we needed to go over some things with our guide, pay him... we wanted him to go to the room with us for another 10 minutes. The owner suddenly stopped being nice and started arguing with our guide in their language. He wouldn't let us go with him, saying it was against some of their rules and forced us to stay in the dining room where we had no privacy. When we got to the room, there was a certain smell in it, which unfortunately made our things smell too. It wasn't like the picture. For example, we didn't know that the walls in the toilet and bathroom didn't reach the ceiling, but were open, which meant that if you flushed the toilet at night, you woke everyone up. So unfortunately, although the owner wanted to be nice, he went a bit overboard and was insincere.

Villa Dominikku was on a completely different level, such a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and a truly warm family atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. The room was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable we’ve ever stayed in, and the whole home is absolutely stunning with so much attention to detail. Everything felt peaceful, stylish, and special. The owner and his wife are such genuinely kind and friendly people and made the stay even more unforgettable🤍
