The pool was warm, West Virginia cold😊

The food was cold, preparers need to show little bit of love for the food. Sausage were white vs brown, potatoes cubes very dry, boiled eggs and pastries cold because they were refrigerated or frozen. Room wasn't that clean and room service only every 3-2 days.

Price was good ,clean ,friendly staff and good breakfast. Only down side was finding it off the highway.

Location is good, it's easy to find. I like the layout of the room, it's very spacious. The bathroom was clean, bed was fresh, and surfaces were tidy.

The room was horrible. Stains and ripped carpeting. Stains all over the box springs. Rusty bathtub. Wallpaper coming off walls. Disgusting and disappointing!!

Very bland biscuits and gravy the first day and scrambled eggs the second. Not very appealing.

Just so you have the full story as well, we were traveling with a service dog, we informed the front desk at check-in. Nothing was communicated to us that it would cause any issues. We checked in and went to the room, we noticed what we thought was a stain in the corner next to the bed, but did not report it to the staff. We also noticed a strange musty odor in the room. Even my teenage boys said the room stinks, so we turned on an essential oils diffusor in the room to make it smell better. We checked out on Saturday and headed home, on the way home we received an alert from our bank of a $634.83 transaction from the hotel around 10:00 am. We called the hotel Sunday morning questioning the charges and were told by the clerk at the time that they saw the original agreed price for the room of $334.83, they saw the $280 deposit hold placed on my card, and an additional $17.50 which we still don’t know what it is from. The clerk on Sunday said there were no notes on the account or any indication as to why we were charged extra. We were told we would get a call from the General Manager first thing on Monday morning. Monday afternoon I called them because I received no call, only to find that the manager was not in and was told he would call me Tuesday morning. No call came Tuesday Morning either, so I called Tuesday afternoon. This is when I was informed that I was charged a “pet” fee of $25 per night charged and that they found dog feces in the room ($250) (this is the brown stain I noticed on check-in). It is a small spot about the size of a milk jug cap less than 2 inches from wall. They claimed it was dog diarrhea. I have three defenses against this (1) My dog is healthy and had several healthy bowel movements outside in the grass which were cleaned up by me during the trip. (2) My dog is an Australian Shepherd 30lb dog making it impossible for him to have pooped within two inches of the corner of the wall. (3) The spot was there when I arrived.
