Территория очень зелёная, ухоженная, номер просторный с хорошей мебелью. Ванная комната старенькая, но чистая. Все работает. Отель по началу оставил самые положительные впечатления ровно до тех пор, пока не вскрылась ошибка персонала, за которую нам пришлось заплатить 7700 рупий в день отъезда. Было неожиданно неприятно.

Абсолютно халатно отношения к документам и гостям на ресепшене. Девушка при заселении дала подписать документы других гостей, заверив нас, что у нас в проживание входят и завтраки, и ужины. Я попросила её перепроверить, так как была уверена только в завтраках. На что она она сказала, что у нас ещё и ужины входят и это 100%. Я обрадовалась, думаю, ну, наверное, комплект от отеля или может акция какая-то. Ага, не тут то было. Так вот в день отъезда нам выставили счёт в 7700 рупий. Было воскресенье, обменники рядом не работали. На руках были евро. Курс, по которлму предложили оплатить в евро был слишком завышен. Я сказала, что по такому курсу платить не буду. Менеджер предложил отправить водителя в обменник и привезти нам рупии. Согласилась, а что было делать, собственно. Но! Я считаю, что это было чистой воды мошенничество!!! Ведь я уточнила у сотрудницы про ужины, она заверила, что все точно. СЧИТАЮ, ЧТО МЕНЕДЖЕР ДОЛЖЕН БЫЛ ВЫСТАВИТЬ ЭТОТ СЧЁТ СВОИМ СОТРУДНИКАМ, ЧТОБЫ ТЕ БЫЛИ ПОВНИМАТЕЛЬНЕЕ В СВОЕЙ РАБОТЕ!!! Почему гости отеля должны платить за халатность сотрудников?! Будьте внимательны, уважаемые туристы. Отель не рекомендую.

The downstairs room was better than up stairs, albeit dated.

Arriving in the early evening, we welcomed by helpful staff. Thank you. I advised the staff we could not stay on the 2nd floor even before even going up stairs as I use a walking stick & struggled with the stairs - we were advised we could not be moved that Sunday night. (yet it did not seem to be full) The top floor of the block, the room was extremely musty & run down. The roof was angled - my Husband was unable to stand upright to walk to the toilet. I was shocked. The following day we had to wait for someone to check out to be able to have a ground floor room. (with sea view as booked). This was definitely a better room, & the staff tried to assist. Secondly the buffet - dinner was below average, the quality of food supplied was not up to the standard of a Boutique Hotel & was extremely expensive for what was offered. The Breakfast buffet (I booked bed n breakfast), was not good. We ate at Hibiscus once the night we arrived & the 1st breakfast buffet. (dinner at the Chinese across the road, cost for both of us less than half of what the buffet charge was for 1 person!) I did not bother to ask for a refund. Our children stayed at The Verandah in Grand Gaube and were told they had to pay to visit, our friends staying in Grand Baie wanted to visit, again the cost attached to this meant they did not come & join us for drinks at the hotel - sadly the Hotel lost out on income. Such a pity when there is endless accommodation in this area. Yet you call your selves a Boutique Hotel - the Verandah in Grand Gaube was far far superior & a lot cheaper, plus has a beach with umbrellas. Hibiscus beach is rocky & you swim off a jetty.

The ambience, location , room was clean, staff very friendly, the bfast buffet menu was good

The A la carte menu could be improved. Not much variety and portions are very small
