Amazing communication, hospitality and breakfast! Everyone was super friendly

Het hotel heeft een prachtig dakterras waar je ook de maaltijden geserveerd krijgt. Het uitzicht op de pyramiden is adembenemend. De kamer was een heel ruime en schone kamer. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Het hotel ligt in een rustige zijstraat weg van de drukte.

De badkamer was piepklein wat eigenlijk in verhouding tot de kamer bizar was. Zo'n grote kamer aan die prijs verdient een betere badkamer. Telkens we gedoucht hadden stond de badkamer ook helemaal onder water omdat de douchecabine niet was afgesloten. Het hotel was nogal kil. Wij hebben geen andere gasten gezien (mogelijks te wijten aan de toestand in het Midden-Oosten momenteel). Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk maar het Engels was een probleem. Gebrekkige kennis van het Engels. Het ontbijt is een vastgestelde menu optie. Er zijn drie keuzes waaruit je kan kiezen. Zeker niet uitgebreid. Het hotel maakt deel uit van een groter geheel met nog twee andere hotels. Zeer groot maar door de lage bezetting een beetje een vreemde sfeer.

Locatie van het hotel is ideaal met de taxi sta je op 5minuten aan het nieuwe museum en aan de piramides. Daarnaast is de rooftopbar voor het ontbijt en mogelijkheid tot diner fantastisch!

Vlakbij het hotel is er een moskee, waardoor je vroeg gewekt wordt door het ochtendgebed

Alle drei angebotenen Frühstücksvarianten waren gut, das "ägyptische" am besten. Auch das Abendessen von der umfangreichen Speisekarte ist empfehlenswert. Der Blick auf die Pyramiden ist eigentlich unbezahlbar.

Ich kann hier wirklich nichts kritisieren. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und bemüht und für ägyptische Verhältnisse und um den Preis kann man nicht klagen.

Staff, especially Manu, were very attentive, helpful and informative both before and during our stay. The room was comfortable, large, quiet and felt secure. Excellent heating and cooling. The provision of a fridge, tea making facilities and copious complimentary bottled water was much appreciated. The included breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the pyramids were excellent and the view spectacular. Evening meals were well cooked, tasty and interesting with a view of the illuminated pyramids to add to the atmosphere. The hotel had a very secluded atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. The swimming pool was clean and pleasant with towels and changing facilities provided. Very convenient for our visits to the Grand Egyptian Museum, 10 minute Uber to and from. Through our stay Manu kept in contact through WhatsApp and was able to offer us advice and assistance whenever needed. The hotel also arranged a very good guided excursion for us to Saqarra, Memphis and the Giza pyramids which we felt was good value and informative and included visits to a carpet school and a papyrus workshop. Our booking included transfer from the airport on arrival, which was handled very efficiently and they also arranged our transfer back at reasonable cost. We would thoroughly recommend a stay especially if your main focus is the GEM and the pyramids.

Very little else in the immediate in the way of tourist facilities, which was not a problem for us as we were only there for five days and we spent two of those at the GEM and another on an excursion.
