Value for money. Shuttle service was good, and food at local restaurant was tasty. Breakfast was exceptional. Gym facilities were nice. Staff were very helpful to organise for a broken airconditioner to be fixed.

Late afternoon servicing of the room (our room was often only cleaned after 4pm).

The staff were exceptionally helpful. Including the lovely Patty that booked a number of island tours for us. Also loved the guitar player in the restaurant. That was excellent. The pool area was great and the rooms were neat and tidy. Breakfast was very impressive.

It is a very humid climate - we felt like everything was moist all the time - eg floor, bed sheets, everything in our suitcases etc. We also got Thai belly while we were there which is a very unpleasant experience and takes you out for at least a day. None of this is the hotels fault but something travellers need to be aware of. If you book a tour that collects you early please be aware brekky doesn't start till 7am so you need to pre-organise something the day before.
