Grand Targhee Resort

It was a neat place.

Very cute resort area. The chair lift was great for the view, then we hiked around at the top a bit. The cafe is great to grab food before you head out for the day. The drive to and from the resort is amazing. We saw a bear cross the road in front of us! Very cool!

Beautiful location, just what we needed after a hectic week! The bison burger on the gluten free bun was a treat and the waffle fries were excellent! Grounds and room were clean and inviting.

Had to cancel the second night due to health related issues due to the forest fire smoke (health advisories issued) and elevation. Not their fault of course. But they didn't even offer a partial refund even though the place was virtually empty. There was maybe ten cars in the lot that night. Everywhere else we stayed they offered breakfast they offed a you pay breakfast. Forgot a phone case there they offered to mail it but wanted a credit card for shipping. Considering we had to leave them with a free night the least they could have done was spend five dollars and send back the case. It is a location for biking and skiing but we weren't there for that. Web site was a bit deceiving regarding that. A good place I suppose for a ski trip but wouldn't recommend it for a general stay.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were super clean. The only thing I didn’t like was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Where do I begin? The stairs to the upper rooms are not marked and oddly placed, old and outdated rooms, the shampoo containers on the shower wall had product in them yet they did not dispense (but to their credit there were some tiny bottles), our room was RIGHT next to the bar so the noise went on for hours, the carpets were old, dirty/stained, the bath and sink haven’t been upgraded since the place was built, old broken furniture. Not at all classy as shown in the ad. I don’t know how this qualifies as a RESORT hotel.

Long distance to take luggage to room. Ice machine in separate building. Older room with creaky floor. But did have a television!

Breakfast was not complementary which was not mentioned clearly. It is an old property.

Its a great place for mountain activities, the siuox lodge is old and not upgraded

It was a lovely stay, but not very accessible! We had to switch rooms as our friend is in a wheelchair and were charged a fee. The staff was lovely though, and we hope we can stay again when they’re a bit more accessible!
