The view from the balcony was beautiful

Run down hotel… everything is so old, including the pillows and beds. There were actually gross. I showered with the flip flops on as the water wasn’t draining well and there was an old (anti slippery) mat in the shower. Stellio was very nice and friendly from reception. He recommended us a nice restaurant for dinner. We booked one more night in Heraklion before leaving Crete (old town) for less money and a brand new renovated apartment with even better view😊. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.

perfekte Lage und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Man ist mit ein paar Schritten im Zentrum von Heraklion. Mit dem Auto ist es einfach zu erreichen (Central Parking benutzen!) und das Frühstück ist im 6.Stock mit Blick auf den Hafen - top!

I really liked that my room and the attached bathroom were large and much cleaner than on my previous stay. The breakfast was also very tasty and enjoyable.

The room was on a lower floor, so street noise was sometimes noticeable, particularly from cars passing over a nearby manhole cover. Being directly opposite the elevator also made corridor noise more noticeable. I would have preferred a sea view, and the Wi-Fi connection was rather weak and frequently disconnected.

The room was spacious with a large balcony allowing views to the sea and the harbor. The location was close to most of the tourist sites in Heraklion and the bus station (if coming from Chania or going to Knossos Palace). Breakfast was decent and had options of hot and cold food. The sweets were very nice, and the breakfast staff were pleasant.

The hotel is quite outdated and really in need of refurbishment. The bathroom felt tired and very dated, with a noticeable amount of mould. The mini‑fridge had an unpleasant smell, and no complimentary water was provided — instead, bottles were available for €1 each, which stood out given that most other places we stayed in Greece offered at least one bottle. The reception experience was disappointing. The gentleman at the front desk was cold and unwelcoming, giving short answers and appearing as though he didn’t want to be there. When we asked about water, he told us to drink from the tap — despite another staff member previously advising us not to and allowing us to refill from the filtered water upstairs. When my partner asked for a city map, he practically tossed it over and when we forgot something in the luggage room and he had to re-open the door, he was clearly annoyed at even being asked. To be clear it was only one gentlemen staff, every else was pleasant. Overall, the hotel needs significant updates, and the service we experienced did not help its impression.

Facturer 2 euros l’eau mise à disposition dans le réfrigérateur pour une chambre facturée près de 150 euros la nuit. Pas top !

Proximité du centre ville tour en étant très calme. Buffet et la salle panoramique du petit déjeuner. Très bon accueil du personnel.
