Nice Matterhorn views

What a great little hotel run by very nice and accommodating people. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, the rooms are basic but clean, and several have excellent views of the Matterhorn. Nice little breakfast area and outdoor garden. Would recommend and return.

The breakfast was very good and featured a view of the Matterhorn. I liked the location. The staff gave me solid advice about a hike. The bathroom was modern and had a fantastic shower. The room certainly met my needs. The room had a double bed. The room was slightly smaller than average.

Front desk was very helpful. Ideally located in the town. After a long day of hiking I wish they had a spa/sauna, but I knew they didn’t when I booked the hotel (hindsight).

Great location. The best views of the Matterhorn specially at breakfast time. This hotel location is perfect super close to the Matterhorn express, Sunnega and gornergrat. Juan the receptionist was super nice. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Just a GREAT hotel. The breakfast views are amazing. One of the best in town, The breakfast food is nice nothing too fancy just your typical European breakfast. They have boiled eggs, yogourt, cheese and bread. They have coffee all day and also they sell wine in the lobby. Just a beautiful hotel location. My only negative is we stayed in the Economy room or the room where you share a bathroom. They warned us before we booked so I shouldn't complain. Although it was a great great price compared to what you have to pay for this location, the room smelled really bad (smoke and mold) and it is super tiny. But I guess you get what you pay for. We paid $170 per night vs $300 per night. Other than that this is a great hotel. Super safe and super great service.

We are a couple from US on a ski trip. We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is good for both skiing and shopping and the room was very clean. Everyone was very friendly and always trying to help. The breakfast is lovely with a great view of the Matterhorn. The only disappointment was the transportation. The staff is not informed enough to help coordinate the transport from the hotel to the train station that requires an additional transfer from the electric taxi to the regular taxi. I wish they would just include the taxi in the hotel price and provide a shuttle. Ski trips are hard due to the extra luggage (ski bags). Help coordinating transportation would enhance the experience. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend Parnass hotel to our friends. Thank you Parnass staff for being so nice and kind with us!

Very happy with our stay. Our balcony had a view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast as good, hotel State of very friendly

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Owner and staff are also veey friendly. Toilet is big and nice. Though a distance of walking in the snow from train station to hotel, but overall still managable. The radiators in the room werent working and even after troubleshooting, the issue wasnt resolved. the staff provided portable heaters for us. Overall a pleasant stay for 3 of us.
