Hotel La Paul

We picked the hotel mainly for the location and hoped that the amenities would not disappoint because it is rated as a 3star hotel. But the attitude of the staff as well as the rooms need improvement. not sure if we would go ack.

The hotel is located 10 min walk to the old city of Sermione. You can take a bike for free and ride around the city (check that the wheels have enough air). The breakfast is good considering the price you pay for a night, the Coffee was very good and you get jug. definitely will recommend for a budget hotel.

This hotel was ok for a family in size and location. It did have some issues like our room key card did not work, we could not adjust the AC. Also the internet coverage is very spotty at best. Overall the location and hotel was ok.

Excellent hotel in superb location, within a easy walk to the town. Very clean hotel, with friendly staff. Nice pool and lake area, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. one downside was the indoor bar needs to be more clear if it is open or not, and perhaps it should be open more often.

Plus: Amazing views of Lake Garda. Minus: Hotel can use a make-over, but then it would be a 4 star, not 3. So the value you get is fair. Tip: Make sure to book the "Double Superior Panorama" rooms with a lake view. If you get this, it's totally worth the money; if not, you're better off going somewhere else.

Hotel La Paul located on very good location where you can walk for few minutes to city center and yet on a nice shore. The hotel is nice although the room was quite old with a lot of wood closets surrounding the room. Breakfast was very nice. Actually, coming from Stresa we were disapointed from the will to assist on questions.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast well stocked apart from 1 day when they seemed to run out of some things including fruit and yoghurt. The fridge in my room wasn't working and when reported to the receptionist I was informed that they don't work! My travelling companion had a fridge which did work, however. There was a slight language barrier with this receptionist as he/she didn't always seem to understand what we were saying so we gave up in the end. There was also no milk supplied in the rooms for tea and coffee. We were supposed to ask for it at the bar (bit difficult when you're in your pyjamas) and then nowhere to keep it cold. Otherwise, the room was lovely with view of the lake, well located, nice garden and pool all beautifully kept. And I would recommend it as, apart from the milk, all our needs were met.

Excellent location at lakeside, request a room facing away from the road for the best views of the lake.

I was very satisfied with the accomodations at the Hotel La Paul. Room was very clean, the view was phenominal, and the hotel was located close to Verona and Venice for day trips. Lake Garda is a great place to stay and explore, lots of great towns and scenery.

This was a reasonable place to stay, clean enough, well situated, but not special. The cost was reasonable. The breakfast was not great.
