Hotel Keihan Sendai

We namen een iets grotere kamer en die was erg ruim voor Japanse begrippen met een redelijk groot, heerlijk bed. Alles heel schoon, alles aanwezig en stijlvol / luxe ingericht. Vriendelijk personeel, handige locatie.

location is excellent, just 8 minutes walk to Sendai station, lots of restaurant around

the bed is small as of all the Japan budget hotels

The location was convenient. The hotel staff were helpful, especially Suzuki Asami and Daniel who sorted out an annoying problem with the outsourced cleaning company.

Housekeeping has been outsourced. As a result, rubbish is not collected if outside the bin despite the bin being too small for bottles etc. There is also the hypocritical "save the Planet" Eco cleaning which means the hotel saves on costs while the room is not made up, beds are not made, and rubbish is not collected. Keihan charges a 4 star price and delivers a one star service. There is no gym and the beds are uncomfortable.
