Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

Nice place to stay but the rooms are a bit smaller and congested compared to the other resorts that we stayed during this trip.

The place is beautiful, we really enjoyed the thermal waters. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I highly recommend getting the special massage. It was the best massage I have ever had. Thank you

Rooms were clean, grounds were pretty and the scenery was gorgeous.

This place has a beautiful view of the volcano. The restaurant is great and affordable - no need to dine out unless you want a different scene. The thermal pool is hot and huge and a wonderful place to hang after a full day of hiking or activity. Staff and spa are great. We had the BEST massage to the sounds of a tropical thunder storm - no music required.

Such a relaxing time at the Volcano lodge! The staff went above and beyond! It was our daughter’s birthday while we were staying there and housekeeping put decorations in the room for her! The welcome massage package was incredible. And the breakfast buffet had delicious fresh fruit and great coffee. We would definitely stay here again!!

Extremely clean and eco friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful

We checked in to our room and found it heavily infested with bugs in the seating areas, curtains and bathroom. At least 50 to 60 insects. When we complained of the problem the staff sent someone to spray poison all over the room. When asked to switch rooms, we were told there was no other room available unless we paid an additional $120 per night. Staff refused to refund the unused night and the Manager refused to speak with us without a significant fuss. Terrible service and staff! Expedia did not refund the stay. We left and went elsewhere. Avoid this hotel at all costs!
