Thon Hotel Moldefjord

It was a bit smaller room than other Thon hotels in different cities but still was good. A very small parking lot but s there was an empty spot. Overall very good!.

Location was perfect for me as it was right across the harbour where the cruise ships and havila stop. I arrived at 22:40 in the evening there was staff at the reception constantly. Very friendly people. My room had a balcony and mini fridge. There was also an ironing board in a closet. Nice big bed in the room. From the bed you saw whatever cruise ship was docked at the moment or the water. Depending on your feelings this can be a good or bad thing. Molde isn't a big place but the location is very central. A good breakfast buffet that is served by the restaurant next door (you don't have to go outside to get there). You could hear people entering their rooms from the hallway etc, but you couldn't hear them when they were in their room so the noise insulation was good (at least in my room)

The toilet and sink in the bathroom are very low to the floor... it seems like one of those children toilets you sometimes have at campings or pools or something.

Nice and very helpfully staff. Provide parking place free of charge. The location in next to the hotel and can be laying just outside the hotel window. The breakfast is in general good compared to breakfast in Central Europe. Compare to other hotels in Norway the breakfast is average. The shower was good but the toilet was located in a way that you need to sit 90 degree to the normal position 😀

Heil ok rom; to små rom satt samen til et oppholdsrom og et soverom med dusj. Det er veldig trangt: dusj vegg kjem heilt inn i toalettet so en må faktisk sitte sidelengs om du er over 1.70 høy..... Vi hadde rom rett i gaten, en del støy fram til midnatt- selv om midtveke. Stoler var ikke propisjonert ift bord: lavt bord, høye stoler- ubekvem sittestilling. Nydelig god frokost i Egon sine lokaler.

Enregistrement un peu en avance, pratique. Mini vue sur la ville depuis le 8ème étage cours intérieure. Bouilloire, fer à repasser, sèche cheveux, coffre. Chambre microscopique par contre. Surtout la salle de bain, accès aux WC par contorsion. Odeur canalisations.... Rideaux occultants trop léger pour bien dormir sans masque de nuit, dommage. Isolation acoustique pour bruit de l'extérieur pas terrible.

Great hotel with amazing views over the fjord and mountains

Alles gut, außer das das Zimmer wenig Platz bot. Aber alles sauber, das Bett bequem und das Frühstück umfangreich.

The location is excellent, only a 5-7 minute walk from the bus station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and quiet. The breakfast was enjoyable.

It seems like the staff at the downstairs hotel restaurant, Egon, are from different teams. The breakfast team was very nice and friendly, but the dinner team was quite rude.

Walls decoration in my room were just suberb!

I heard other guests moving chairs on the floor, it was disturbing
