Ramada by Wyndham Drumheller Hotel & Suites

The hotel itself was excellent, but I didn’t like how they kept complaining about children. I have two small kids, and I can’t tie them to a bed to stop them from playing or crying. There were many children at the hotel and all of them were being noisy and playful, so it surprised me that we were the ones being warned. When checking out, I even overheard one staff member saying: “When you pay $500 for a room, you don’t want to hear children crying.” After hearing that, I honestly got the feeling that this hotel is more dog-friendly than kid-friendly, which I find absurd. I understand that guests want peace and quiet, but families with young children are paying guests too and should feel welcome. Hearing that comment really made me uncomfortable and negatively affected my overall impression of the hotel.

The location was pretty good for having access to restaurants, groceries and fuel - I would’ve preferred to be closer to downtown to walk to the local coffee shop or dinner but still very good location! We had an accessible room (seem to be the only one with the outside door) - and it was very convenient for my husband and I bring our golf clubs in and not having to go through the lobby. The bedding was also very soft and bed was comfy - plus the room was very clean.

Hotel is off the main road and easy to find, room was lovely and spacious, with microwave, kettle and coffee machine, smart TV, bathtub. Breakfast was a continental, with cold and hot options.

Didn’t enjoy the pool and water slide as full of kids

Rooms and bathrooms were newly decorated and clean. Nice comfy beds, good size fridge with microwave and coffee maker was very handy plus smart TV was great for kids movie night 😊 Love the 24 hr feee coffee bar in hall way and the breakfast was ample too! Clean pool and hot tub with plenty of chairs and towels. Great for families!
