Oaks Cable Beach Resort

We stayed in a 2bdrm apartment for 5 nights for my husbands 50th Birthday. We loved that it was an apartment, so we could make our own breakfast, do our own washing and drying and generally be self contained in a nice large space to come and go. The main pool was great. The location to Cable Beach was nice and close, although we still drove our hired car to and from the beach as its still a bit of a hike if you were to walk. Cable Beach has got to be the most magnificent beach we have ever seen. Great that we had our own dedicated car bay as well. Loved that we got to see the Staircase to the Moon & go on the Sailing Sunset Cruise as well as do a half day Horizontal Falls excursion, highly recommend!!

One of the pools was empty due to maintenance, which was a bit disappointing, as they didnt warn us prior to booking. Although they had another pool open, it could get quite busy at times. We had to get our key to our room reset as it just stopped working halfway through our stay. Not much bad to say though. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place

Enough parking . Dinner at restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was not too bad either Staff are friendly and helpful.

No access rumps for prams from pool to restaurant. Only one door key per room. Pool water was too cold Some mugs were dirty and when I told staff, he said that they are clean but over time the stains don’t come out. This was at the restaurant.
