The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff were also very kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, although expensively priced.

Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by the partial sea view, particularly given the significant additional cost. The view was heavily obscured by bushes, meaning we could only catch a very limited glimpse of the sea in the distance. There were also a considerable number of mosquitoes, which meant we were unable to make full use of the balcony during our stay—a feature we had particularly been looking forward to. We were also disappointed by the atmosphere around the pool. There were several very loud groups and families, and unfortunately the lifeguards appeared to do little to manage the noise levels. As the hotel promotes itself as offering a calm and tranquil experience, this did not align with our expectations. We ultimately felt the need to raise our concerns with reception, which was disappointing in itself. We understood that the hotel is in a remote location, and had anticipated enjoying the peaceful surroundings. However, as this tranquillity was not reflected in our experience, there were limited alternatives available to us during the day. We were aware that access to the beach club was available for an additional €45 per person, per day, but did not feel it was reasonable to incur further expense simply to escape the noise, particularly having already paid £450 per night for our stay. The restaurant was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our visit, and the food was exceptional. We were happy to pay premium prices for the quality offered. However, our F&B bill of £900, in addition to the £1,300 cost of our three-night stay, represented a significant overall spend, particularly in light of our wider experience and considering this is a four-star hotel. As this was the final hotel of our trip to Italy, it was unfortunately an anticlimactic end to what had been a truly wonderful holiday.

Der Service war wahnsinnig gut, alle waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sensationell und die Lage ist einmalig. Wer dort übernachtet sollte auf jeden Fall einmal den Aperitif dort einnehmen, da auch hier Qualität von Speisen, Getränken und Service super waren und der Sonnenuntergang dort einfach wunderschön ist.

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht, dass der Strand mit 55 € am Tag extra gezahlt werden musste, obwohl der Aufenthalt an sich ja schon sehr hochpreisig ist. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, das war jedoch alles super sauber und ordentlich.

Even better than the photos - amazing views on all sides and right next to all the best restaurants in the town and lots of small shops. You can swim just outside the house in the port but it’s even better when you go down the coast - either on foot or in a car.

The views, the food, the staff’s hospitality - we were absolutely delighted to have found this gem in the most beautiful location for our honeymoon.

Eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Die Zimmer waren total nett, Terrassenartig aufgeteilt. Die Lage oben auf dem Berg war richtig toll. Wer die Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Das Personal war super nett und freundlich. Ich war zu diesem Zeitpunkt leider krank und durfte nicht viel essen, doch sie haben sich bemüht, mir alles zu ermöglichen, was ging. Vielen Dank dafür. Auch für Fragen gab es immer ein offenes Ohr. Kommen gerne wieder.

il luogo è affascinante, con una vista illimitata che spazia sull'arcipelago Toscano con Giglio in primo piano e Corsica sullo sfondo. Abbiamo approfittato di un evento gastronomico allestito sulla terrazza al tramonto, magico!!!
