Hearthstone

Location was great, weather not so! Everyone was happy, warm and cozy except when outside!

Couldn't get the gas heater to work, not sure if the gas was low. The front door did always lock properly and there was an unexpected guest in the roof space otherwise all good.

Very warm and cosy. Adequate room for the 8 of us. Had all of the facilities we needed for the weekend. The view from the balcony was stunning.

There were some areas that could’ve been cleaned a bit more. For example, between the dressers.

The Facilities where great, access to everything in the area terrific. The house was well appointed and easily able to accomodate a large party of people comfortably. The House owners look like they have an interesting history on the walls by the amazing photos, just wish the managing agent would look after the owners better as they have let the property go by not keeping the owners up to date with the state of the property.

There was a toxic Mold smell in the whole house. Members of our party have to leave early due to the overpowering smell which made all of our party sick. The managing agent was less than helpful when we made them aware of this major health hazard. I would not recommend staying in this property as it is unsafe and a health hazard.

There was no breakfast provided. Location was excellent

lots of stairs for guests with walking issues. There was an unpleasant smell in the house on arrival

Great location Comfortable beds and lounge Sensor light outside was great for coming and going in the dark

Loved the space in the property. Plenty of room for us to spread out.

The bbq did not work- gas leak. Also the upstairs shower is not well renovated, it leaks and floods the bathroom every shower. Definitely needs to be looked at
