The view from that specific room was some blocked by trees, but yet, their green color was calming.

Hotel agréable dans un très beau parc. Les chambres sont vastes et le lit double grand et confortable. En revanche la salle de bains était vieillissante, et la baignoire gagnerait à être remplacée par une douche. Peu de place pour installer les affaires de toilette ou accrocher des serviettes. Le petit déjeuner est correct, sans être fantastique. Pas de capuccino, mais un café au lait quelconque. Le personnel est agréable. En résumé un bon potentiel qui pourrait être amélioré.

L'attente au restaurant était beaucoup trop long 45 minutes après notre arrivée pour avoir notre plat unique alors que seul quatre tables étaient occupées

We liked the tranquil location as the hotel has extensive grounds.

The hotel is showing its age, water leaks had damaged the ceilings in both the bar and breakfast room, with the latter displaying a poor temporary repair. No receptionist was available to book us in and we had to wait sometime. We enquired via email about eating in the restaurant prior to our arrival, to be told that they could only accommodate us at 6.00pm. This was too early for us, so we booked elsewhere. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to eat in the restaurant. I explained that we were going to eat elsewhere only to be told that they could have fitted us in. We enquired about the next night and were informed that it was going to be busy, but they could fit us in. Further enquiries the next day again found that we could not eat at our desired time, even though we were told they could fit us in. Annoying mixed messages from staff. The hotel seems to put more effort into looking after coach parties, rather than guests who book individually. The bedroom smelt musty and were certainly not worth the money we paid. We were on a car tour of Scotland, we stayed in five hotels during our trip, this was the most expensive, yet offered the poorest overall experience.

Loved the location and walk through the wwodown to the sea. It room was great. We particularly liked the comfortable bed and the fact that the curtains cut out all the light making the room pitch black. Brilliant forceful shower.

Not a lot to complain about. The breakfast wasn't up to much and the carpets were showing signs of wear in places but I'm just nit picking

Driveway a nightmare full of potholes.Our room was dark and very tired .Not welcoming at all.Very disappointed, to say the least.
