Easy access to Lancaster and Forest of bowland. Dog friendly. Easy for M6. Good food. Good beer and wine. Great dog walks nearby. Looking forward to staying again already.

It was just an overnight stay, but the stay was really amazing, friendly and attended all our needs. The rooms was clean, spacious and decorated with good standard. It was a quiet place. Highly recommend this place and we definitely book this again

Spotlessly clean room, welcoming, friendly staff. My husband, myself and our dog all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a superb breakfast and the kippers were the best I've ever tasted!

"lovely old inn"

We stayed here overnight in this well kept old inn on our way to Scotland. Very welcoming staff, good range of drinks at the bar including well kept local ales. The food here is superb and is mostly locally sourced. Bedroom was quite small but very clean and comfortable. Very enjoyable stay.
