It was beautiful at the River Lodge! We were so kindly greeted when checking in. Nice view of the river out our room window. Thank you!

The surroundings, river, etc were spectacular. The property was well maintained also. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well as the service. However the feel of the area was like a cafeteria - not much ambiance. The rooms etc. also were very lacking in "feel" - cold and uninviting.

Staff was very nice!

The outdoor area pool, hot tub and walk way were good. The facility is looks just like the pictures. If you want a riverside view requst it, I was given a parking lot view room. Unfortunately, the King room was not the 9.4 rating it was given. I could hear every little sound.... the guy in the next room, shuffling around, coughing and gaging. The bed was hard and lympy, I couldn't sleep and got up very stiff and sore the next day. The refrigerator had a loud humming buzz that increased overnight. The Tv wouldnt select a channel, after resetting 4 times and 3 calls to the front desk still didn't work. I was told maintenance would fix it in the morning. I kept fiddling with it and it finally worked. Overall, for the price I am totally disappointed.
