Lisbon Grand View

Appartement spacieux et avec une super belle vue de Lisbonne. Proche des stations de métro et tram. Le seul bémol il n'y a pas de machine à laver et d'étendoir ce qui est très compliqué quand nous sommes nombreux alors que cela est indiqué dans l'annonce.

The apartment itself was nice, with a new kitchen and smart shower rooms. Beds were comfortable. However, their was no breeakfast bowls, only 2 knives and lots of forks. Sofa was covered with a bedsheet to sit on, behind the bedsheet was a couch fully held together by gaffer tape! So much you actually cant see the cushions. Bedroom door is too big and struggles to close , needs a bit shaved off. Tv is small. No bedlamps beside the beds! Location is good for the tourist attractions, however is in very dodgy lane which is badly lit. Didnt feel safe coming and going. Safe enough feeling once indoors. Could be so much better, with very little effort.

Apartment appeared clean and tidy, nice modern interior, very spacious and all rooms in our apartment had their own bathroom which is great when travelling with a group. Easy to check in and instructions are clear. Beds are comfortable. Our apartment had a large terrace with a nice view. Location is really convenient.

No kettle in the apartment, luckily we hired 2 apartments and so we asked the other group upstairs if we could borrow theirs. Dishwasher will not dissolve tablets and so, did not clean dishes properly. We found mouldy ice cream in the freezer on arrival (I have a photo of this). The TV did not work, and would not show picture on the single channel that it had. Air con was working in all rooms except the living room - it turns on with the remote but heats the room, despite adjusting temperature on the remote which is not what we wanted. Cleaning products like surface spray or dust pan and brush were not supplied. The fridge in our apartment was covered by a large ice block, did not bother us much but worth noting as it’s unusual. Bathrooms have a strange smell, like unclean drains which was noticeable in the bedrooms if the door was not closed. Some of the bedrooms appear to have some sort of water damage in the corners. The other group said the Wi-Fi did not work in the upstairs flat that we hired. It did work, albeit not well, in the flat downstairs. To be honest, we did not report these issues to the host during our stay, but we were out of the apartment for the majority of the holiday, and only returned in the evening and we did not want anyone going into the flat with our belongings whilst we weren’t there.

Not great wifi signal. Not great tv signal. Soap dispensers were a bit rusted. We also got wrong code for key holder. Luckily I moved it one number and it worked. We arrived at 7pm and no answer from phone number given

The property is good size

Mould, staff communication when we were at property, small stuff like toilet rolls, damp in the room and kitchen facilities were inadequate.

Poorly located! The walk UPHILL was absolutely BRUTAL with luggage.

The view was amazing. It was very spacious all around. There was 2 restrooms which is convenient. There were 2 bedrooms, a living room with a dining room table, a kitchen, the space was great.

There were a few appliances that did not work like the hair dryer, electric kettle, stove and air conditioner. The shower did not drain the water properly so the bathroom flooded. The second bathroom had a tub, but the water was cold. Sent the owner a message, he had someone come in but couldn’t get in because I took the key, and asked me to leave the key the next day. The next Day I left the keys and messaged asking if someone had gone by, I got no reply.

Very comfy appartments, we were a group of 10 dispatched in 2 different flats. We enjoyed the large terrace and the large spaces in the different living rooms to be all together. Every couple had its own bathroom which is very appreciable. Getting to the appartments was pretty easy and the hosts were very reactive via messages.

The humidity in some of the rooms (especially the large flat downstairs) and the very bad smell every time you turn on running water. However we do not believe this is due to the flats themselves but to the city. Maybe we are just use to too much comfort in France :) The flats could use a bit more of sanitary products (dishwasher pastilles, hand soap and tea towels).
