Cozy apartment with great location at the center of Madrid.

I really appreciate contact with host and initial communication before arrival

We found everything we were hoping for and even more. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities - heat, air conditioning, tv, internet, bathroom equipment, hot water at all times and I’m sure I’m still forgetting something. Also to be coming downstairs and finding yourself at the center of Madrid is invaluable. Almost all major sites were within walking distance, not to mention shops, restaurants and many places to go out at night. A big kudos to our host who was very helpful and provided all necessary information to easily find the apartment and make ourselves feel at home. Would definitely come back!

The elevator broke down two times which could be a problem, given we resided at the fourth floor. Fortunately, it was immediately fixed both times.

Great location and great communication with company.

Stairway up to bedroom area is very steep and narrow. People with mobility issues may struggle. Also it is billed as a 2 bedroom, but the bedroom area is really more of an open loft. One of the bedrooms has a door that closes with frosted glass, the other “bedroom” is really just a bed with a drape that can be pulled down, not a door. People who want privacy and space may not like this.

location was nice. keys were not available, we waited over an hour, to get the keys, the code was wrong, had to wait for the owner to give another code

the stairs are very dangerous, we were not able to take our suitcases upstairs to the bedroom. We would leave the suitcases in the living room, and have to go up narrow stairs to the bedroom. Changing clothes you would have to go down dangerous stairs then back up. The upstairs ceiling were very low, I am 6 foot, and my son is 6 foot 4 inches, and we hit our head on the ceiling a very times.
