Hotel Tugu Bali, Canggu

The hotel is beautiful and full of history. Its location is amazing as it is just some steps away for Canggu beach, also in a street full of nice bars and restaurants. The hotel food is delicious, although a little more expensive, it is really worth it, in Europe you don't get this quality for the price. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, they are super friendly and welcoming.

Our room had a big leak on the cealing which cause one of us to get water in the face while sleeping pn a rainy night. I did told the staff but they didn't do anything about it. Make sure to check your room before you settle.

Le personnel était d'une extrême gentillesse et absolument adorable avec les enfants. La chambre était très belle avec une salle de bain magnifique. On se sent transportés dans un autre monde. Meilleur petit déjeuner que nous avons eu à Bali : très bon, copieux et servi dans une très belle pièce.

La musique de la boite de nuit à proximité peut déranger certaines personnes, il faut en tenir compte, surtout qu'elle commence assez tôt et jusque tard. Lors de notre passage, il y avait des travaux de rénovation dans la pièce principale de l'hôtel de sorte que nous n'avons pas pu assister au spectacle ni profiter de la beauté de l'ensemble.

Beautiful property. Modern conveniences in a classic Bali setting. We had a room with private pool and the room was huge. King bed, indoor/outdoor bath surrounded by water and fish. Mini bar(pay for most items). Breakfast was plentiful it had ala cart and buffet items. Afternoon tea with snacks. Staff was incredible and provided anything you needed. Walkable to the beach and bars and restaurants nearby. Wife loved the Japanese restaurant where we watched the sunset on the roof. Would recommend.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms, the grounds, just stunning. The staff are so lovely and friendly!

Sadly they were renovating the roof while we were there. We had no idea about this at the time of booking, so there was a lot of noise during the day and we couldn't really use the pool as it was right next to the roof they were constructing. Another thing which is outside the control of the hotel is it is a few steps away from 2 bars/clubs that have music blaring until 5am every night. Lots of mozzies get into the room, so use bets and mozzies spray.

Breakfast was good. They delivered it to the room and I was able to order as much as I liked. Taste was good too.

The hotel was under renovation and maintenance was not that great. The lobby was entirely inaccessible, reducing the charm of the hotel. I wasn't informed about the renovation. When I told them about my dissatisfaction they gave me two hours of complimentary massage as compensation. I also ended up paying double for taxi service as I was wrongfully assisted by staff.
