Tubac Golf Resort & Spa

The most beautiful place and management is exceptional. We have now stayed here over a dozen times and can't say enough. It's beautiful; quaint; stunning environment! You wi be shocked by the beauty of the resort and the location. The manager is the most amazing lady!

Excellent stay.

Great place very relaxing

I wish I could say it was great…but our unit had 3-4 problems and sleep was not good from noisy heater and light outside ournot tight shutters leaving bright light into the room. Pillows were not great. Room had charm galore but failed on practical things. Batteries on remote were dead…also lo battery light when we went to use the safe. Golf course was in miserable shape ( no exaggeration). We wanted to love it but were sorely disappointed for cost.

The architecture and property setting is charming. The nearby artist's village is charming. The golf course was fun! The food was good, staff nice. The beds are not comfortable. Old style squeaky box spring mattresses. The individual room heaters are noisey. The plantation shutters don't block out the outdoor lighting that is on outside each unit. The water pressure was low and then shut-off without notifying us. Updates are long overdue.

Incredible, historic facilities, over the top friendly staff. Great food and drinks. Unforgettable golfing. "Surprise" encounters with local wildlife. 100% making this an annual trip.

The rooms are very dark. My a/c didn't work and I had to ask for another room. They had to verify that it didn't work and finally moved me. No view. Bath/shower had no grab bar and no rubber mat for the bottom. The duvet smelled of other people. The room was given to me because I indicated it on Expedia and they had a large wedding that weekend. I arrived on Sunday. The landscaping is haphazardly maintained BUT the restaurant the Stables was very nice. Good quality food with variety and very gracious, helpful staff including the manager. This is unlike the front desk staff which was unpleasant in general. No effort to make it a great stay. They never smiled once and acted like I was an imposition. No interest in returning.
