Tubac Golf Resort & Spa

I stayed one night. I felt safe and respected as a seventy-something woman traveling alone. The room was very large with comfortable beds. The Stable Restaurant was lively and fun. I ordered the pork schnitzel, one of my favorite dishes if prepared well; this schnitzel, served with a delicious warm potato salad, was properly thin and crispy. Before I checked out, I enjoyed the hot tub and a swim in the sparkling clean, beautiful, heated, large pool. There is also a lovely lap pool. All staff members were professional, friendly, and competent.

What is depicted and what we paid for is NOT what we got. We stay here often and we are very disappointed that the room was like a motel 8.

The resort was old, but well maintained. In fact, it was a beautiful example of old spanish architecture. The room was a suite with a fireplace and it was lovely.

A very nice older property. On our second stay we were assigned the same room we stayed in and for the second time I could not get the coffee maker to fire up. I survived.

The staff was friendly, and the food was very good! The bar had a good vibe. No wonder I couldn't find photos of the gym on their website - it is in need of a MAJOR overhaul! The if you don't "return your key to the front desk" and "pool towel" possible fines is a little bit of nickel & dimming that I hadn't seen at a "resort" since the 80's

The place is Amazing, very beautiful. Most of the staff is very friendly. If your ok with a receptionist who is in a bad mood all the time for no reason at all this is your place.
