Open Hearth Inn

10am checkout is brutal to someone who drove long miles and arrived late. If you don’t like cars and small planes oozing by and over the properties this place isn’t for you. Room was OK but clearly overpriced for what it is.

Cob webs in bathroom, ceiling fan was filthy and dust bunnies hanging down, rugs were dirty looking and should be replaced. There was lots of dirt under the headboard on the floor and under the bed. Room was cramped but bed was comfortable. The shades on the 2 windows were torn. So don't believe the write up on it

What a great solace to stay!! This was a beautiful 200 year old home turned into a hotel. Loved everything about our stay! We immediately felt welcomed by Dan and felt at home. Thanks for an awesome experience. Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys feeling like you’ve stepped into another era. If we’re ever visiting Maine again, we will definitely be choosing to stay here!

This cute place with it's little cottages was located in the perfect spot to see Bar Harbor, and all the way to Camden.

Loved the OPEN HEARTH INN. VERY FRIENDLY MANAGEMENT. They go out of their way to make your stay a Happy one. Slept like a baby

Very comfortable stay and left a footbrace which was sent back to Fl by the owners, would definitely visit again!

whenever I visit Acadia National Park next time, I will stay here again, It was comfortable, room is spacious, clean and I got little kitchenette too.

Charming cottage, convenient location, close to Acadia National Park. Room is a bit dated but worked for our visit to Acadia. Dan, the inn owner, is extremely helpful. Our unit is right next to the main road, a bit noisy in early morning from passing traffic, you may want to ask for a cottage further back in the property.

Perfect for visiting acadia without paying bar harbor prices
