The oddly named, yet charming, Manos Stephanie Hotel is a nice find. It is clean, cozy, comfortable and classy, out of the main ring of Brussels yet still just a quick Uber or easy 30 minute stroll to the heart of Mannekin Pis, uh, glory. The hotel has a nice old-school, white and wooden feel, and the front desk staff (Jean Pierre I believe) was quite friendly and helpful. I did not eat breakfast at Manos, but it looked solid. The entire Manos experience was quite clean. The Wi-Fi was fast, the rooms quiet, and the elevator spacious enough to get my luggage skyward. There's a metro line (Louise) a 5 minute walk away and a worthy coffee shop (Stella) even closer. Book with confidence, no complaints here if you don't need to be in the Thick of It. I'd happily stay at Manos Stephanie my next time in Bruxelles. Perhaps bonus points will be found for fans of the seminal 1966 film "Manos...." (you know the one) but unlike that movie, the experience here was well thought out and well received. The master approves and so do I.

No bathroom washcloths were provided and the room AC didn't seem to want to go down too low - typical Euro complaints for zaftig Americans.

The hotel interior and the room itself were beautiful and impeccably clean. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.
