Liked the bathroom, especially the shower. Enjoyed the bar in the lobby, especially the signer (Lisa) on Thursday night.

Pillows and bed were uncomfortable - way too soft. Pillows too big. Found a bug on the bed.

Friendly staff, great water pressure in shower. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast value.

Parking should be free. We opted to park on the street for free, which is possible on weekends.

"A very pleasant stay"

We were here for a wedding. Although we knew the hotel was sold out, it was very quiet. The beds were some of the best we’ve had in any hotel, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. There is a small gym, an indoor pool, and lobby bar. It is within walking distance to the center of town. We were very happy with our stay, and would stay again if in the area.

"Great hotel, but room service not answering the phone over several hours is unacceptable."

Very clean, friendly staff and the room was exquisite.

The evening room service didn’t answer the phone (called 6 times over 3 hours) which really nearly ruined our stay. We didn’t want to have to leave to get dinner. That’s the whole reason we booked this place.

"historic experience"

lovely hotel with very unique pool worth swimming in. excellent location for strolling around historic downtown Winchester; close to shops and restaurants. the live music in the lobby bar on Friday night was exceptional quality.

there was only an end table and a light on one side of bed, meaning one of us had to put our things on the floor and couldn't read without the main room light on.
