Elea Beach Hotel

We just arrived back from what was a wonderful week at the Elea beach hotel. I travelled with my husband and our 15 year old and 18 year old sons. The hotel suited us all, it was immaculate, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds changed. There was plenty of choice at the restaraunt and the hotel is at a great location. We were right on the beach where there were plenty of water sports to choose from. The front was also dotted with Tavernas so if you fancy a change from the hotel you can. Pool and darts and table football available, as well as a packed entertainments programme. Water aerobics in the sea at 11.3O I enjoyed that) and evening entertainment from live music, to fire throwing to traditional Greek night. SPECIAL THANKS to Simo!the entertainments manager! What a fun guy! He got to know all the guests young and old and works tirelessly to ensure everyone is having a great time! Dassia village is a very short walk where you can catch the bus into Corfu town and Ipsos beach (which we did) We took a boat trip one day from Dassia to Kasiopi with Asteral, I can really recommend this, plenty of stops for snorkelling in caves and a BBQ on the beach was part of the cost of the trip. We also saw the filming location for James Bond and the Durrels original family home. We also took another boat trip with Magdalena, this time a sunset pirate ship cruise down to Corfu fort and watched the planes land over sunset, cocktail and finger food included in this price. We would love to return as we have made memories that will last forever.

We came here for my 40th birthday as we wanted no fuss and somewhere to relax for a week. We paid extra for a sea view room and was worth every penny for the views. Very peaceful first thing in the morning. I even saw the owner walking with his dogs around the pool early morning before it got busy. The dogs are lovely and no bother at all. There are sunbeds on the beach as part of the hotel which are great. We watched people on the watersports just 100yards outside of the hotel which was entertaining. The lady on reception we dealt with both checking in and out was lovely. The bar staff were equally as helpful and friendly. The selection of drinks was very good. There wasn't as much choice of food compared to the other hotels we've stayed at but the quality was really good. The entertainment guy was worth his weight in gold, he kept everyone entertained all day and into the night and was full of enthusiasm. This was our first time to Corfu and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would stay here again. ❤️

The staff at the reception were polite, and the room was equipped with quality mattresses, comfortable bedding, and good towels, along with a well-functioning air conditioner. The hotel also offers the benefit of easy, gentle-slope access to its private beach, complete with complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas.

There was a constant, unpleasant smell of mold and sewage throughout the hotel and the room. The room design was non-existent, marred by signs of sloppy, low-quality repairs, such as peeling paint, cracks, and uneven flooring. The use of the cheapest possible finishing materials makes it impossible to judge the level of cleanliness and creates the overall atmosphere of a cheap sanatorium. The bathroom was equally disappointing, featuring a plastic stool, a poor shower drain, an uncomfortable shower head, and a lack of basic toiletries, replaced by a generic wall dispenser. ​To add to this, the ventilation system was noisy. The lobby resembled a warehouse for styleless, cheap furniture. Furthermore, despite a wide variety of food at the breakfasts, it was cold and unappealing in both appearance and taste, leaving us to rely solely on fruit for our meals. Overall, the hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property.

Posizione molto comoda per girare il nord dell’isola. Parcheggio incluso. Colazione abbondante ma di gluten free presente solo pane su richiesta (e non sempre presente)

La camera non molto pulita, il letto non è mai stato cambiato in 7 notti e una volta abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi la pulizia che non era stata fatta. Inoltre la mattina si sentiva molto rumore dei carrelli della biancheria già dalle 7.

I have not stayed at a hotel where the staff lack basic customer service levels. This hotel was a complete letdown. The lack of communication was disappointing. We were told we are not customers anymore (we were not treated like customers in any event) as we had checked out even though they are aware we have a late pick up due to flight times. We were denied food and water. The staff were rude. The server Anna (white hair) was obnoxious, terrible attitude, racist as we are a mixed race couple and dismissive. The rooms were unclean. The beach was full of litter. If you want a nice holiday, I fully recommend staying elsewhere. The staff should be ashamed of themselves and definitely require further training. Avoid at all costs.
