Sand Castle Inn

Love this place, travel thru Monterey and Salinas a lot. This is the place to stay. Great location, food and shopping near and the beach is minutes away. The staff here are wonderful and the rooms are very comfortable. Love the Frig/freezer combo. STAY HERE>>>>

Great spot to stay, clean rooms and loved that they had a fridge and microwave for leftovers. They are a great location close to a restaurant if we didn't feel up to driving somewhere and close to a gas station to get snacks at. Also walkable to the beach which we did every morning! I only have 1 ~con~ charging per night for animals per pet. :( but that's pretty much anywhere you stay so I understood. But overall great stay!

Great staff and fridge / freezer combo is great for long stays. Bed comfortable and room is very clean.

Affordable but far drive to tourist traps and had to pay for parking everywhere except the hotel

Old property but renovated nicely, ample outlets, big fridge, microwave, keurig, lots of lights, and a big bathroom.

Very clean and love the balcony!

Normally stay at the Embassy suites so when I booked this I should’ve lowered my expectations for cleanliness. For the price I guess I got what I deserved. People above our room loved letting their kids run back and forth. Can hear a mouse fart in the next room because the walls are so thin.

Blackout shades would be helpful.

I really loved the location, perfect for walking around or a quick drive to the aquarium
