We stayed at The Lodge at Geneva On The Lake and it was a nice, pleasant experience. The staff was polite, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good. We went after Labor Day and unfortunately, most of the little shops, restaurants and activities close after Labor Day. Next time we go, we will go earlier in the summer to be able to take advantage of the shops, etc. (although some people enjoyed it being less crowded). The Lodge has a nice pool, which looked inviting, but we didn't use it. There is a walkway and people were able to ride bikes there (which the Lodge provided). You can sit outside in comfortable wooden chairs and enjoy seeing the lake. There were still pretty flowers which beautified the grounds. Overall, a very nice place to stay.
The staff at The Lodge at Geneva on The Lake were great and welcoming. What a great experience with the wine bus tour and activities provided by the lodge. I would definilty recommend this location for a quick get away with friend and family.
We had a great experience in a cottage. It was quiet and private. Mattresses and sofa were comfortable. The cottage porch overlooked Lake Erie. There was NO cooktop in cottage to cook eggs or soup.There was dirt behind TV set and refrigerator and on caulk in shower. But counters and floor were clean. Linens were clean. It took too long for hot water to come out of shower head. Staff was friendly. Food in bar was delicious but drinks were weak. We wanted more alcohol for the price. Pool and hot tub were clean and we had them to ourselves. There was body wash and shampoo in pool showers but no washcloths.
It was wonderful! A little pricey but great amenities! One complaint NO MICROWAVE! Couldn’t reheat morning coffee or leftovers.
We stayed at the Geneva State park marina and dined at the Lodge at Geneva on the Lake: Strip steak was mediocre, good brisket sandwich, however, Ashlee B. was the worst server ever.
Always a great place to stay. Quiet at night! Sleep well. And close to 'the strip'! : )

Our 2 night stay was wonderful. Staff friendly and the room was clean. Food good. Will definitely go again.
