Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa

Die Größe des Zimmers war sehr gut. Zwei sehr große Betten und viele Abstellmöglichkeiten. Der Druck in der Dusche war hervorragend. Der Poolbereich ist gigantisch! Ein wirklich großer Pool zum Schwimmen mit einer sehr angenehmen Temperatur. Auch Sauna, Dampfsauna und der Whirlpool waren sehr gut. Der Liegebereich war sehr großzügig. Der Poolbereich ist wie ein antikes römisches Bad gestaltet, was sehr gut passt, da im Nachbarort ein echtes, antikes, römisches Bad ausgegraben wurde und besichtigt werden kann.

Das Restaurant war unfassbar kalt. Außerdem hätte das Personal besser das Frühstücksbuffet auffüllen können statt in ihr Handy zu stieren. Das Hotel könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, es ist z.T. schon sehr abgewohnt. Ein paar Räume sind aber bereits renoviert wie der Laura-Ashley-Tearoom und sind sehr hübsch geworden.

The spa facilities were lovely and the spa staff were wonderful. My partner and I had a treatment and it was great.

There was work being done to replace windows around the property. One of which was the room next to ours. This meant there was banging until 9.30pm and it started again at 8.30am the next morning. They threw the old windows out onto the grass outside our windows so that was our view for the day. I have uploaded a picture of the mess outside the window and do have videos of the noise but cannot upload a video. In evening dinner the one staff member took orders and then went to sit in reception until food was ready. We were told there were quite a few things not on the menu as they hadn’t had a delivery. Our food took 45 minutes to come when we were 2 of 8 people in the restaurant. The food was nice but my partner ordered Cajun chicken and it was just roast chicken with no Cajun. The couple next to us ordered 2 starters and a side and waited over an hour before complaining that their food hadn’t arrived. They had to find the waiter sat in reception to ask where their food was and it turned into an argument with shouting. The staff never came back in the restaurant and the couple left after another 20 minutes without having their food. They were told the wait was due to a large party outside which they went to look and saw it was just a family of 4. The king room we booked was 2 double beds pushed together that were different heights so, not what we were expecting. Breakfast was self service and nice and the staff in the morning on reception were lovely and helpful. I messaged the property the evening of our stay to complain about the noise and the receptionist in the morning told me they had got my message and sent it on to the management. I still haven’t heard from the property in reply to my messages. Overall it was disappointing as our relaxing stay was ruined by the loud noise and poor staff behaviour. We have enquired about a refund but not heard anything back yet.

We loved our stay here. The superior room was spacious and quiet with a view of the grounds. The staff were lovely and helpful. The fresh fruit salad at breakfast was delicious and very much appreciated. The spa facilities, while needing a bit of an update, were basically fine and did the job! Very fun Greek theme to the pool! The setting in beautiful countryside was lovely, away from it the hustle bustle of everyday life. All in all a nice place to relax and I would stay again!

Breakfast service was a bit minimalistic and hot water in flasks didn't make a very hot cup of tea. The spa changing rooms/shower area had an unpleasant odour, maybe the drains need unblocking.

Good Location and the price was ok

Wasn’t very clean, too noisy in the room, WiFi very poor and keeps connecting and disconnecting at all times no signal on the phone as well on the room I was.

Beautiful place and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and coffee included in our stay.

Pillows were not very comfortable, bigger puffier pillows would have been nicer. Mattress and blanket however was very nice.

Clean rooms lovely location. Spa was nice.

The noise from other guests slamming doors til late, gone 11 o’clock there was constant slamming of doors.

Lovely gardens and location, friendly staff.

One more junior staff to help clear breakfast dishes from tables would have helped the busy staff.

It was my third time to stay there. The first one was 7 years ago, second 4 years ago and now was the third time. Brilliant in every aspect.
