It's like a sanctuary in the middle of Thamel. When you go in the gate, you leave all the hustle and bustle behind you. Sometimes they have a fire in the courtyard at night, which is nice. You can have drinks and talk with your friends. The rooms are somewhat simple, but totally adequate. Breakfast is OK if all you want is yogurt, fruit, toast, eggs, and coffee.

The manager Abbi made two arrangements with me that he later broke. Whatever he says to you.. if it is a special arrangement.. PUT IT IN WRITING AND HAVE HIM SIGN IT.

Great Thamel location. Hotel and room facilities are high quality and well maintained. Staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet very good. Garden & restaurant provide a welcome calm spot. Within walking distance of many attractions. Hot shower 24 hours a day! Great value. Benchmark hotel for Kathmandu.
