Futura Hotel

Beach is not very pleasant (mixture of sand and pebbles) and 10 minutes walk. No green lawn for children to play at in the hotel. But room was upgraded to a bigger one for free, cleaned daily, fresh towels every day, kitchen was fully equipped. Big bathroom, no bathtub, hot water was hot almost every day:-). Espresso was really bad and costed 3 euro. Good hotel if u have a car and use it as a base for traveling around the area.

We would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel. Exemplary service - always with a smile - and nothing is too much trouble. A high standard of cleanliness & comfort with new airconditioning & constant hot water put the Futura well ahead of the competition.

This place is beautiful. The room has a large living room with a balcony and views that are amazing. A fully equiped kitchen, seperate bedroom with kingsize bed, a dressing table and two large closets, plus another balcony. It was so much more than we expected. We only booked for one night not knowing what to expect and have extended the stay to 2 weeks. The lady who owns the place is so helpful and a real treasure. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Crete. Right down the street is a grocery store, a bar, internet cafe.....everything you would need. We rented a car, but I understand the bus system is great for getting around.

This hotel provided great service and is located in a great area. There are many restaurants in close proximity, as well as a grocery store. The beach takes a walk up the street to get to and is very rocky (not sandy). The reliable bus service has bus stops close to the hotel. There is no wifi and you must pay to use the internet computer. This is a great place to sit back, relax, and take things slow.

People from Reception desk do not care about mayor complains, Air conditioners too old and do not work well, Rooms + Kitchens + Bathrooms + Hotel installation lack of maintenance and cleanness, Kitchen utensils cheap, old and dirty (My Wife never wanted to cook)
