California Suites Motel

The room had a smell to it that did not go away. While it was a great price, the smell made the stay uncomfortable.

The rooms need renovation. The bed was comfortable.

Nothing I didn't like. They gave you a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The room was spotless, comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The front desk lady was terrible she was so rude

I was here for one day. The room was clean and comfortable. I had free HBO, so that was cool. The restroom had hot water. Overall a well experience.

Person who owns it was really nice made sure we had everything we needed very polite tv didn't work but didn't really need it so didn't ask front desk for help

Need for them to re do bathrooms they are old and dirty

I've been going to Mexicali for years. Sometimes I stay in Mexicali, and sometimes I stay in Calexico - usually to avoid the long waits at the border. By now I have stayed at most of the Calexico border motels, and I can say that California Suites is definitely the best of the bunch. You get the same value as you would at a similar hotel across the border (well, almost), and the management is extremely gracious and accommodating.
