Hampton Inn by Hilton Litchfield

This location is undergoing a complete remodel. Don’t stay here. They have just started on the 3rd floor. The first room I was given had a very bad smell. The next room on 3rd floor was lovely. The staff was very nice to change rooms. The breakfast is OK. The highway noise is quite noticeable in the rooms. I paid WAY too much through Expedia.

Pillows could really use a up grade otherwise than that everything else was excellent

Rooms are dated and shower was old looking. Hot tub and pool were out of service. There was no bacon or sausage to go with eggs for breakfast. Was told the gravy had sausage. Sad.

I liked my tub with the jets

My husband and I stayed here for just one night, driving from STL to central Illinois to see family. The hotel is 'adequate' at best. Definitely needs an update. The worst thing, however, was the PUTRID smell of mold and mildew that proliferated our room. We put off getting a shower until we got to our destination the next day for that reason.
