"Interesting stay"

Hotel was nice and updated. Room was comfortable. It is in a great area and overall we enjoyed our stay. The issues we ran into are things other people posted about but I dismissed until I was there. The towels in the bathroom truly feel like sandpaper. I couldn’t believe it until I tried it. Hopefully they start using some fabric softener. The biggest issue is the elevator. They only have one serving the front desk area. I later learned there is a second elevator on the opposite side of the hotel but I didn’t try it so I do not know if it works. I used the one I was told to use. We waited 5-10 minutes each time to get on the elevator. And during peak times we waited a lot longer. Don’t make the mistake we made…we accidentally got off on the wrong floor, thinking it was our floor when other people got on. We had to wait for 15 minutes for the elevator to come back to us to get to our room. The last two things to note were the shower did not have any shampoo (two bottles of body soap and a bottle of conditioner and I confirmed the two body soaps were the same inside) and the shower had a lot of sand in it from the last guest. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable.
