the room was loud. you could hear the cars outside and room next door.

Paper-thin walls and floors - stayed two nights and had to change rooms in between (busy weekend and we knew this before arriving and were fine with that), but the first night we heard every step above us, and the second night heard conversations crystal clear next door. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, the free breakfast had excellent, tasty options, but why can’t hotels put insulation in their ceilings and walls?!!! I love Penn Yan, but probably won’t stay here again.

Both the Pool and Hot tub looked very clean and inviting. We did not use the pool or hot tub. We were pleased to see a lift in the bool for handicapped individuals. Breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.

Location was great

The air conditioning or their mini fridge was making loud noise couldn’t sleep well and price of hotel was way to high

My old impressions of a BW was a lower budget hotel and it was anything but that. Super clean, great rooms (we upgraded to a king suite), very flexible staff (was able to get a later checkout). They allowed us to bring in our bikes (they were clean) to our rooms for safe keeping without any issues. Great location near downtown Penn Yan with plenty of restaurants and stores. The free coffee and juice (24/7) was a great touch and they included a nice 'free' breakfast. I rarely would go to a hotel pool and this one was super clean and we happened to be the only ones in it. Overall, exceeded my expectations and I will definitely stay at this hotel again!
