Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa

I had a wonderful time during my stay. My recommendation is not to include buffet breakfast or dinner too many days like us or you will miss our local food.

Very good view of Ocean from the hotel room. Breakfast facility is fantastic. Lots of choices. This Hotel has free shuttle service from both Odawara Train Station and Nebukawa Train Station. Check their Bus shuttle schedule. Relaxing environment. Great friendly staff. April 19th 2025

We were lucky to enjoy cherry blossom season on the property that was absolutely stunning with views and a very local feel. The pool was very lovely with heated water both indoor and outdoor and just an absolute treat. There was also a cold plunge and onsen (that had a gorgeous view, too). The facility also has a bowling alley and karaoke onsite. It was our little one’s first time to bowl, and it was so fun because they had adapted for littles to learn how to bowl. A great way to end the day. The most special part for us was meeting Mr. Park, who took excellent care of our family from arrival to departure, literally. We felt so lucky to be in his kind care and he definitely elevated our experience of the property! Thank you again Mr. Park and the entire team. See you again, we hope. Best, Tracy and the family.

The hotel is located on top of a hill with spectacular views over the ocean. The swimming pools and onsen are amazing and super relaxing. Staff is very helpful and super friendly. Breakfast is very nice although we would have loved to see a bit more Western food. We stayed there twice in ine week. The second time we got an upgrade to an amazing suite with a seperate tatami room.

The grounds I believe are beautiful and green around the end of April or may but were not pretty end of march as everything brown yet, the staff are fantastic, breakfast good, they had a free shuttle to Odawara that was fantastic, the ocean view from the window is great but the rooms are tiny.

They have these stupid sliding doors on the room entrance and the bathroom, they don’t seal off so the hall noise and especially your neighbors noise echo in your room so loud you think they’re trying to get into your room, the doors shut automatically with a bang so you’re woken as long as guests are still going to their rooms, also the restroom door the same, old bad rollers that are noisy and so you are woken every time your roommate uses the restroom plus since the door doesn’t close nicely, the restroom noises echo into the room, the restroom is seriously outdated also, it’s easy to see the hotel had grandeur at some point but it’s past that point imo. If the whole idea of a hotel is rest, peace and relaxation, that isn’t really how we felt.
