Before I continue with this review I want to make it very clear that I don't think the hotel in and of itself is to blame for what happened, but I do think that someone, potentially at this establishment, might be the culprit behind what the story that follows. I needed to come to Clovis for a medical procedure so I booked the hotel through hotels.com and my mother and I stayed one night here. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean, the beds comfy and the stay was all around very nice. We paid with a credit card at the desk However, just a few days later my mother got multiple alerts of fraud on her card where it was being used for OF purchases in multiple states within a single day. In short, her card number had been stolen and sold online. Again, I am not claiming that the Fairfield hotel is to blame for this issue. But what I can stay with certainty is the card in question was only card number stolen and was only out of my mother's hand in 2 separate locations, purchasing gasoline (which the station has been notified) and paying for the hotel at the front desk was one of them, hence my suspicions. Personally I would still stay here, as it is a good hotel. This is purely meant as a warning to stay vigilant when traveling.

It is essentially located to the air force base and multiple areas to eat, which were helpful! The front desk staff and the breakfast staff are both kind, which is why they earned a four out of ten. The website says they have a pool ( one of the reasons we booked there) but the state of new mexico health board has closed it down and it wasn't closed on their website. The maid service leaves a lot to be desired. I saw the maid one time in the five days we were staying there. Even when I called to request the maid, all she did was pick up the dirty towels, not leaving fresh ones or emptying the garbage. She didn't take out the garbage from our takeaway food for 3 days. For the cleanliness of the room, we found a pair of men's food black underpants in one corner, a brush and metal straw underneath the table. We stayed in a family set of rooms and one of our televisions never worked, the bathroom sink didn't drain properly, and there was no ability to use the bathtub as there wasn't a drain plug. I expect more from a marriott brand hotel.
We enjoyed the suite. Beautiful bath, comfy bed and A/C. Breakfast was the best we have ever had at such an establishment!
