Riad Mimouna

J ai découvert ce RIAD voilà 20 ans environ. A chaque séjour....env. 20... je découvre de nouvelles raisons de revenir dans cet établissement. Le lieu est parfait et les personnes très attentionnées.

Die Lage des Riads ist spektakulär, auf jeden Fall Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen. Hinzu kommt noch der erstklassige Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals, sie helfen in jeder Situation weiter. Das Riad ist absolut empfehlenswert, fühle mich dort schon wie zu Hause.

Absolut nichts

The worst stay in Morocco. We (3 rooms ) travelled from Tangier through various towns & cities. By far the worst. We read reviews that said the view was fabulous & saw the clicks of the room on trip advisor before we asked our TA best travel Morocco to book. Tiny, poky room. No air conditioning or central heating, no slippers, no bottled water, no coffee/tea or even a water jug/kettle or glasses/cuos in the tiny room with a shabby even tinier toilet which was leaking with water covering the whole bathroom floor. After an unwelcoming cold check in by Kareem when we complained, instead of changing the room or repairing this huge problem he had towels put on the bathroom floor which were soaking wet & perhaps same towels used as bath towels post drying. Very unhygienic bed linen ( smelling ) thin, tired bath towels, no body lotion or shower cap. Breakfast was mediocre but good service by Yassine & this morning the receptionist Hamsa had the toilet problem sorted in short time, unfortunately an hour prior to our check out & he was well mannered & apologetic. There was sand on the floor & the frugal small table. The House Keeping staff pushed our door open whilst we were in the room & it was most embarrassing as I had just finished my shower & was walking into our room. Place reeks of poor management & we suggest you have pleasant staff as Hamsa to welcome guests & Kareem in the back office as he is ill mannered, condescending, inefficient & lazy. We heard other guests complain as well. The rooms on 3rd floor are better & larger. Our TA said he had booked us the best rooms… At the reception we were told we were booked for regular rooms Unsure who is lying.. a beautiful coastal town is Essaouira with fabulous views but such poor behaviour & ill kept Riads leave a poor taste in the mouth.

Wonderful location next to the ocean

A BIG PITY that the bathroom had not the usual soaps and creams that even far more simple and cheaper places offer in the enture country. The soap supply was very poor. No Argan to be seen. Also, there is no need to wash daily the towels, better replace them with soaps?

Location, staff , comfy bed, views from room

No hangers in wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes

The location, the staff helpfulness and the calmness of the riad
