Paradise Sun

We loved staying at Paradise Sun Hotel. The place is super cool, the beach is simply great, people are super nice and welcoming, food was tasty. We particularly loved the attention that they had for kids: from the menus at the restaurant to the beach toys available to them for free, to finish to the small coloring sheets received while waiting for our food. The place is indeed rather simple and maybe less "structured" than other close-by resorts but it was exactly what we were looking for. We were given two double-rooms (they are more hats) just a few steps from the beach, we felt blessed for that and we can't thank enough the property for that. Our rooms were very comfortable, clean, with a nice bathroom and an overall great quality of sleep. As far as the breakfast is concerned: great choice of products, very tasty and very well located within the property area. Check-in procedures were well handed, the people took good care of us (after a tiring 75 minutes long boat trip between Mahe and Praslin). The pools (one for the kids, one for the adults) were nice and an option to keep in mind for completing the beach day in the best way before heading to the restaurant. Curieuse Island is just in front, we strongly suggest to visit it via some of the tours offered by the guys on the beach.

We last visited this hotel over 25 years ago and were pleasantly surprised by the sensitive renovation which still managed to preserve the unique creole architecture. This is a low-key resort. The refurbished rooms are luxurious with excellent comfortable beds, top quality linen and bedding. Ours had a wonderful, uninterrupted view of the sea,which was glorious. Food was excellent and plentiful. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming and always ready to assist. We enjoyed the “Creole Entertainment” evening. There is a bus-stop directly outside the hotel, providing easy access to other points on the island,should one choose not to hire a car. Location was fairly quiet. Loved all the coconut trees in the garden ….

The pool,although very pleasant,is a bit small for this resort.
