"decent hotel, but..."

a comfortable, reasonably run mid-range hotel all around, w/decent amenities. but one of two elevators was broken for the entirety of or four-day stay, and apparently had been having problems for several weeks, and the single remaining elevator was insufficient for all the guests. we walked down 8 flights of stairs several times to avoid the wait. also, i don't appreciate that they sharply jack up their rates for the one weekend in august when u of georgia students move in. most of the hotels in athens do the same thing, but that doesn't make it any more right.

Excellent location, walking distance to theater ,bars and dining. We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly but no pet amenities ,not even little rug to put water bowl, we always travel with one, but I know ( I worked in hotel) people using guest towels and when you make reservation it should be ask about pets and mention how much pet fee and parking too.
