Sousse Palace Hotel & Spa

The hotel is ideally located near the historic centre yet fronts onto the beach. 2 min walk to the medina market. Personnel couldn’t be more welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. Particular mention for the waiting staff in the restaurant. We had a 4-day forfait at the spa. Sana at reception and Maia who advises clients on what treatments are the best were both wonderful. The girls in the spa were gentle and very competent. THANK YOU. We didn’t want to go home.

Check in was fast and efficient. Common areas of the property were well kept and clean.

Rooms could use general updating....very dated and worn.

If like me you look at reviews before booking your holiday, then please read this, firstly it definitely isn't 5 star, the food was cold and when I complained I was told to use the machine (microwave) it was pretty much the same food for lunch and dinner, and all week. The area outside is very run down being approached by men outside the hotel for money constantly, the beach area was full of litter, broken glass, fag stumps, it was a disgrace, we went to the bar to get a coffee and was left there for 20 mins finally we gave up. We had to ask for basics in our room daily sometimes taking 3to 4 visits to reception to ask. I 100% guarantee, you will wish you read this and took it seriously, also nothing happened to us, nobody was rude to us, I'm not writing this because of anything that happened its just my honest opinion on this hotel. I wouldn't go ever again.

I went on my 1st solo writing trip to Tunisia for 7 nights I stayed in the lush 5* Sousse Palace & Spa Hotel next to the Medina. Upon arrival l found the reception staff all spoke English and their greetings were warm, friendly & professional. The lobby areas there are different sections on this elongated lobby is super clean and posh looking with a cosy feel. l was taken to my room and was expecting a single bed instead l got a Queen size bed, the room & bathroom was huge with pool/ocean view it’s stunning. The evening entertainments were excellent Mr Majdi is exceptional at keeping the guest happy and entertained wearing his multiple hars. The dining area clean with great healthy food variety and lots deserts plus lots of drinks. I went on a spa pampering day with Maya and her team. I felt very pampered l had a facial, seaweed wrap, then clay wrap in the steam room, full body massage and one woman sauna. It was great value for money. The inside heated pool was relaxing and great to swim off the excess food eaten. I didn’t visit the gym only because l didn’t bring my trainers or gym clothing but from my room l could see it was superbusy everyday & night. The private beach is 2 mins from my room so went on a few walks and sunbathing. Overall l would highly recommend visiting Tunisia and Sousse Palace & Spa Hotel.

Je connais cet hôtel depuis longtemps! Mais là en étant venu en décembre dernier et je m y trouve encore en ce moment une dégradation fulgurante des lieux. Certain membre du personnel fait ce qu il peut pour sauver ce navire du naufrage à venir. Les 5 étoiles ont sincèrement disparu ce sont des étoiles filantes....du savon manquant dans les salles de baîn, un ménage fait rapidos avec de la crasse un peu partout ! Au niveau de la salle des repas tout n y est plus ! Pas de couverts aux petits déjeuner! Surtout petites cuillères ou serviettes ! C est la panique à bord ! 2 cuisinier pour faire des omelettes ou d autres crêpes ou beignets pour plus de 200 personnes.....une catastrophe ! On sent l angoisse de certaine personne du personnel qui fait ce qu il peut avec les moyens que leur direction leur donne. Dans notre chambre téle qui capte tres mal les chaînes la porte du balcon laissant passer un air froid en cette saison obligeant a mettre la climatisation chauffante a fond Sincèrement et ayant fréquenté l établissement a plusieurs reprise et bien c est le declin je ne reviendrai donc plus jamais ici . Les apparences sont plus que trompeuses ..... A qui la faute.....a une mauvaise gestion je suppose. A bon entendeur
