"a nice hotel deep in the woods"

10.0

I selected this hotel for a business trip around Boston. I was just there for one night. It is "far outside" and typical not a hotel for just an overnight for a business trip. But I loved the large room, the nice fitness facility and the peace around. Service was exceptional friendly and personal. Someone you typical don't have in a chain hotel.

"A nice hideaway for a great price"

10.0

Overall the warren center and inn is set in a beautiful natural area in Ashland ma with the reservoir right behind the inn. It is a beautiful area to go for a nice walk. The rooms and main are for an included breakfast are all very clean and nice. The manager is very attentive to the guests. However, one of her check in staff members is not very nice. She should not be in the customer service industry because was very abrupt to us after driving over 20 hours to get here for the birth of our granddaughter and she would not allow us to get into a room an hour early to freshen up before we went to the hospital to see our new granddaughter. We sent notes in advance to the inn to see if it would be possible and the inn had said yes. The manager was very apologic about how nasty her staff member was too us and provided us with a note and chocolate which was a nice touch, but we would have preferred to have been able to get into the room to freshen up to meet our new granddaughter. Her staff member was totally inflexible and told us to sit in their waiting area until the official check in time which made my husband I very upset. No manager was on duty at the time, so we left and went to the hospital. It was the manner in which she talked to us and our unique situation that made us so upset. We would consider staying there again but there are other places for the same price that might treat you better.

"Great stay at Warren Inn and Conference Center"

10.0

I was pleasantly surprised with the Inn. The lady at the service desk was efficient and friendly. She provided me names of taxi services as I wanted to hire one. My room was very nice and had a small fridge and a coffee maker with the fixings. Juice and breakfast was provided-self serve. The surrounding area was country and historic! The only thing I would change is that maybe they could provide a small lounge or alcohol service to your room. You could bring your own but a room service bar would have been nice or a lounge where you could meet other people. I would go there again!

"A rural retreat"

10.0

A welcome break from the bustle of Boston. As there were only a few guests it was fine for us .Breakfast and all day drinks, snacks, and fruit are self-served from a galley kitchenette but there are few tables and chairs so maybe you normaly take it back to your room.We sat outside on the terrace which was delightful ,the weather being clement.

"Nice, quiet Inn with a beautiful lake!"

8.0

We were very please with our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of counter space with 3 big cabinet areas below the counter. It is located in a beautiful area! The lake is gorgeous and there is a wonderful trail all the way around the lake. We had no trouble locating the Inn. Our GPS took us right to the circle drive where the office is located.

"Quiet, comfortable and welcoming"

8.0

I really like staying here because it's in a lovely setting, not like most accomodations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a bit more off the beaten path but still convenient to many larger towns.

"Uninspired rooms in an enchanted garden"

8.0

The grounds are gorgeous and even enchanting by the light of the sunrise. The lobby area is cozy and inviting; however, the rooms detract from the beauty & ambiance. They are clean, but outdated and plain. Not what I expected after seeing the property.

"Tranquil. Beautiful."

10.0

I loved the rest we received after packing up our daughter for her move. It was close, 30 min. away, to Boston and a good break from a day of packing up the truck and before unloading. I was pleasantly surprised having ordered and our food delivered to the inn by an excellent recommendation from the staff. We bought our own wine. We ate by the lake on the beach at sunset.. Beautiful. We walked later and found the place quiet and surreal on a weekday. Wonderful. I will come back. It is worth the stay then going into Boston and worrying about parking. I liked the balance of city and staying in a surroundings of nature. I recommend this inn that has the comforts of lake, boating, trails, softball field, catered center for convention or parties, and surroundings. Good to know!
