Please note that the nearest car park is located in the center of the village, under the church square. There are 373 spaces. During winter season it's open 24 hours a day with someone at the office from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 8:00 to 20:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the time an automatic system allows you to get in and out. Please note that Super-Chatel Gondola Elevator is open until 17:00 everyday.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. Just had a fantastic week at the L'Escale. There is something magical about being far from the madding crowd up a mountain, which falls silent at 5pm. Then it is just the piste bashers and quiet, ideal for the kids to toboggan or just sit on the terrace and admire the view. The staff are incredibly friendly and hard-working. The food was excellent, a wonderful spread for breakfast and dinner was also excellent. We had lunch on a couple of days as well, with a varied and large menu. If I had to come up with a criticism, it's that the Wi-fi basically does not work and for some reason the 4G seems not to work well, either. The rooms are a little basic, but that's not what you're there for. They are clean and comfortable. You can ski, quite literally, out the backdoor and apart from the fellow guests, the only others at the bar in the evening are the pisteurs. We will be back, for sure. A massive thank you to Sarah, Johanna and the rest of the team for making it such a pleasurable stay.
