The restaurant Quattro next door is excellent!

Ucciardhome means jail house in Italian. I have stayed no less then five times at this hotel both alone on business and with my family and have had an excellent stay each time. Very spacious rooms, well kept, modern and sleek. Great neighborhood with all kinds of street food and restaurants.. one not to be missed Mudu' two door down. This is a business hotel so it tends to be empty on the weekends and they have no problem upgrading you without request to one of there many suits if you are staying there on a weekend and suits are available.. thumbs way up!

It was our honeymoon and they did not care....it was stated, balcony and windows in guest rooms, this room did not have either one. the bathroom was as big as the bedroom, we asked for a king bed and what we recieved was 2 twin beds pushed together and also were different sizes. the sheets were dirty and there were spiders in our bed. The Air condition did not work correctly and they claim to have breakfast which consisted of a few pieced of cheese, bread, salami, and a few cookies....nothing worth even waking up for....very false advertising and the front desk did not help at all and did not care to....ruined our honeymoon completely

We found this hotel while browsing Hotels.com with a friend who lives in Palermo. She had heard it was really nice, and thought the location was really good. We wanted to be close to town, in a quiet area, where we didn't need to worry about walking around as far as safety. This Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It has recently be remodeled and it is gorgeous. The area is perfectly fine, and it is easy to get downtown using the bus or to the port by foot. Next door to the hotel is a great pizzeria- MODU. Palermo in late July is HOT, and every time we walked back in the lovely, cool hotel, I felt like we were so lucky to be there. The breakfast had pretty extensive offerings for Italian breakfast. Our room was a beautiful blend of modern and traditional. Great bathroom, a small balcony, and plenty of space. We will absolutely go back to this hotel. They have done a wonderful job playing with the fact that the hotel is located next to a well known prison- their logo indicates counting down the days on the inside...I wish we had had more days inside this hotel!

Incredibly helpful staff recommended the best pizzeria in Palermo and managed to book us a table when it was completely full on a saturday night. Room was comfortable, TV could have been bigger, but the mini bar was well stocked and the breakfast was fine.
