"Business users value accommodation"

Ideal, cost effective accommodation for my purpose, visiting family in nearby residential care.

"4 Night Stay in November"

6.0

Pretty standard Bed and Breakfast never really saw the owners so can't comment on there friendliness, room was a small single with the bathroom further across the landing. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and tea/coffee restocked. I was out early ever morning so never tried the breakfast. I would advise asking for a room at the rear of the property as the street to the front is very busy and very noisy.

"Disappointing."

Despite assurances our room would be ready when we arrived. We turned up and told we were being moved to another hotel with no explanation Bad communication from start to finish.

"No communication don't bother"

2.0

Turned up and they made out they had a problem with boiler. After standing in the road for 10 minutes the owner of the guest house across the road turned up and informed us we were now staying with him. All this could have bee avoided if the owner had said were over booked and moving you. No communication and owners do not stay in premises so problems getting keys avoid.

"honest review..."

10.0

first of all, I feel I should make something clear - this was a budget-priced bed and breakfast... not the Savoy, and my review is based entirely on what expectations should be in relation to the price I was charged. Hopefully I have given a realistic and useful review on that basis. For the price, I cannot fault the hotel. I had a clean but rather small room on the second floor, but it had all the things it needed (sink, tea-making facilities, TV, etc), It did not have an en suite bathroom (again, not expected due to the low price charged for the room), instead it was across the hall - also clean... the purpose-built shower was more than spacious enough to accommodate my chunky six foot two frame. The breakfast room is on the ground floor. A choice of breakfast foods are available and the landlord was very friendly and accommodating - I recommend the full English breakfast - the sausages are really good ! All in all, an enjoyable 6 day stay for me at this establishment - all I can possibly complain about was a loose tap in my room that wasn't screwed in properly into the sink (an easy thing to fix), and if I wanted to be overcritical, a larger TV. Other than that, I have absolutely no problem staying here again (this was the second time I have stayed here - I doubt it will be the last !).

"My stay"

6.0

I had a good stay at the hotel. Only thing that was a minor was that the doors kept creaking as you went into your room plus the floor too. The shower plus toilet should had a basin to wash your hands instead of going back to your room.

"Good location"

Located close to shops and the beach. The host was very helpful. The omly complaint was a bit of traffic noise from the road behind the accommodation.

"Tunnel Stop"

8.0

Ideal overnight stop for the Channel Tunnel, parking is down the road and totally random. The advert is private parking but there is none. Otherwise very good for a night stop.
