Newagen Seaside Inn

Wonderful breakfast! Great place with great people. It’s the oldest (in age) county in the US. The average age of residents on the island is 84.

Our stay completely exceeded our expectations! The property is just gorgeous and offers a dozen places to sit outdoors and enjoy the scenery. Make sure to walk/hike down to the Sunset Place! Breakfast was fresh each morning, enough choices that we didn’t get tired of options during our five days there. Our dinner at the pub was delicious! We both had the fish and chips and really should have split one, each dinner had two large pieces of fish - so I’m saving the blueberry pie for next time. We stayed in the Main Inn, which had quirks expected of an older building, but the rooms and common areas are very well kept. The game room was fun, lots of memories of summer camp! Finally, the staff were absolutely spectacular - we felt like regulars the moment we walked in. We will definitely return!

Its beautiful location, staff was exceptional

No elevator

Newagen was peaceful. The sunset path to the Adirondack chairs listening to the tide come in and watching the sun go down was magical. Sitting on our deck drinking coffee and listening to the waves to start the day, perfect!

Spent a weekend here to attend a wedding. It’s very cozy and all the staffs were friendly. I loved that they had a tea/coffee station by the front desk and a restaurant on the property. They have a cozy seating area downstairs with puzzles and things to read. My room was clean and had a nautical theme to it. There was a windows unit ac but even though this was in July, it wasn’t hot to the point where we had the ac on often. I’m an early bird and I loved that I was able to walk outside and sit right by the water before breakfast started. It was very quiet and peaceful. They do have an outdoor pool and lawn games, which makes it also great for families. The location itself was a convenient drive to everything, like the general store, a thrift store and the Main Street shopping.

Location was convenient and just a lovely spot on the coast. We really loved the friendly family atmosphere, the beauty of the Inn. We were ready to unwind and this spot is a great place to do just that! We really appreciated the staff especially Abby.

Beautiful property on the water. So much fun for our grown kids & grandchildren. The game room kept everyone entertained and our 12-year-olds loved the water & boats.

The property and rooms are so beautiful and comfortable. It feels nothing like a hotel and more of a relaxed home feel. Everything is clean and well kept.
