Hotel Odinsve

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L’hôtel est confortable, propre et idéalement placé, à 5 minutes de la Cathédrale, des rues animées, des restaurants, des différents monuments et arrêts de bus. L'équipe est à l’écoute et chaleureuse. Le service est top. Le rapport qualité prix est très intéressant.

When I booked this as a 4-star hotel, my expectations were a bit higher than what it was. There were no major issues with the room or hotel but bunch of minor things that could be addressed. Torn carpeting in the hallway, shower drain was partially clogged, old fashioned metal key, hard to properly adjust the room temp, and not the most plush bed, just to name a few. Great location, nice staff, and overall decent value. If this was classified as a 3 or 3.5 star property, I probably would have given it a 5-star rating. As such, if the price is comparable to 3-star hotels, this would be a great value and there should be not hesitancy staying here.

Very simple room. No view despite how looks online. Looked out on space between buildings on first floor. Two buildings. Don’t know if the other building was nicer but the one with reception desk where we stayed was no frills at all. Iceland hotels are minimalist which is fine just small and old for price we were charged ($269 US). No upgrade available. Front desk help was very nice! Good Thai spot for late dinner down the street was good.

Excellent. The location is perfect. It is off to the side in a quiet straight but close to everything. Safe and nice area. The hotel itself is basic with everything you need and nothing more. Value for cost was good. The attached restaurant named Snaps was very good. Parking is on street using the parka app and I had no problem finding a space both all three times I parked. If no luck then it’s free parking at the national church five minutes away. I will stay here again.

We stay at Odinsve every year we travel to Iceland. It’s consistently comfortable, clean and welcoming.
